One searches for chometz this year on Thursday night immediately after Maariv.
One recites the declaration of Kol Chamira immediately after one finishes the search.
The chometz is burned at around 11:30am and nothing is said while the burning takes place.
One should prepare the lettuce, horseradish, shank bone, salt water, charoses and candles on Friday.
One should leave a fire burning either on the stove or a 48 hour candle so as to be able to light the Yom Tov candles.Open all boxes and cartons - wine and other bottles.
Keep the challahs for your 2 meals in a safe area and use paper bags not plastic bags.
The crumbs tend to stick to plastic.
One should keep one's candelabra away from the challah on a separate table cloth or plastic.
After Kiddush on Friday night wash and eat the challah either in a separate area in sight having in mind that one will continue the meal in another location close by, or one can eat at the same table.
Be extremely careful to finish the whole challah or better still pita bread (Hamotzei) and if the crumbs remain, flush them down the toilet.
Continue one's meal in another area and bentch accordingly. After coming home in the morning make Kiddush and repeat the meal setup as one did in the evening.
After one has cleaned up the crumbs and gotten rid of the chometz proper, one puts the bag or plastic table cloth in the garbage bin.
Do not use any plastic plates for your challah since they stick to the surface.
Sweep up all crumbs using a brush and pan (not a carpet sweeper) and dispose of them in the toilet.
Continue your meal and then bentch afterwards.
We recite the declaration annulling our chometz before 11:24am.
We don't eat any apples, pears or anything used for the seder plate during this Shabbos (except eggs and potatoes).
One should make sure one has set one's Shabbos clock properly for the next 3 days.
One is not permitted to make any preparations for the seder on Shabbos day.
One should remove all tags off new garments before Shabbos.

A current Insight:
When you give for a worthy cause, it is really only a loan and G-d Himself is the guarantor. Furthermore, the more you give, the more you get. I don't mean this figuratively. I say so you will test it and see for yourself
