An Insight:
"Whoever builds a home," the sages say, "becomes impoverished." Midway, he runs past his budget. To complete, he borrows and falls into debt. And only then, a home is built. So it is with every venture to attain wholeness. It is the order of creation, the protocol of life: Our minds and hearts struggle, but they are too small to reach their own fulfillment. In desperation, we call upon something much deeper, something we never knew we had. And only then can a home for the Divine be built.
