In honour of Yud Aleph Nissan 30/03/2007 the birthday of the Lubavitcher Rebbe we are presenting you with this authentic Shmurah Matzah.
Please contact us to pick your matzos on Friday 30/03/07.
It is a special Mitzvah to eat round, hand-baked Shmurah Matzah, which is similar to the Matzah that the Jewish people ate when they left Egypt.
This Matzah that we are giving you is similar to the exact original Matzah that our Forefathers actually made a

This Shmurah Matzah, is Matzah which has been hand made under the most stringent supervision, from grain which was guarded from the time it was harvested, to ensure that it never came into contact with water or other liquids, to prevent it from rising. The meaning of the word "Shmurah" is stringent supervision.
Eating Shmurah Matzah on the Seder nights will strengthen and invigorate your faculty of Faith. Faith is the most important faculty that we possess. It is likened to the legs of the body, which hold a person up firmly and steadily. Legs do not think or analyse like the brain but they are vital for a person to be able to function properly. Faith is a supra rational faculty which takes one beyond intellect and enables one to expand one's consciousness to a higher plane. That is why it is called “The Food of Faith!”
Be careful not to eat or come in contact with bread when you eat this Matzah. Pesach is a time to avoid eating any bread in general.
Please make sure that you eat a portion of at least half of this Matzah on each of the two Seder nights. Before you eat it say the blessings as outlined below, and make sure that you do not talk or do anything else from the time you say the blessing until you finish eating the whole portion.
Each Seder night, we eat at least one Matzah. Directions:
Hold all the Matzas in your hands and recite the following blessing:
1. Baruch Atah A-do-noi E-lo-hai-nu Melech Ha-olum, Ha-mo-tzee Lechem Min Ha-aretz.
Blessed are You, Lord our G-d, King of the universe, Who brings forth bread from the earth.
Now hold just the two top Matzot and say:
2. Baruch Atah A-do-noi E-lo-hai-nu Melech Ha-olum Asher Kid’sha-nu B’mitz-vo-tav V’tzi-vanu Al Achilat Matzah.
Blessed are You, Lord our G-d, King of the universe, Who has sanctified us with His commandments, and commanded us about eating Matzah.
Now break off a large piece from the top Matzah, and eat it together with the middle Matzah, leaning to the left. Taste the freedom!
May the personal redemption experienced by every individual in the merit of eating this Matzah, hasten the redemption of our entire people, and lead to the fulfilment of the hope expressed at the conclusion of the Haggadah, "Leshono Habo b'Yerushalayim-Next year in Jerusalem" with the coming of Moshiach, speedily in our days.
An Insight
We have a tradition from the Baal Shem Tov that when someone tells you "not good things" about another person, you should feel great pain and distress. Because, either way you look at it, someone is hurting: If the story about this person is true, then things are not good for him. And if the report is false, then the one who has fabricated it is hurting.
